There are three primary differential types in the Nissan 350z chassis. The 3.5 ratio came in an open differential in the base models and in viscus limited slip (VLSD) in the other trims. Nissan also offered a 3.3 ratio from the factory in the automatics.
The automatic carriers are not compatible with the manual cases. The ring gear will not mesh with the pinion without major shimming. Make sure you select the correct differential below. Or, if you are unsure which diff is in your car, you can purchase the mail-in service.
