WeldedDiff.com differential carriers are prepared and welded for drifting and motorsports use. We stand behind the workmanship of the differential carrier itself with a one-year limited warranty from the date your order is delivered.

If a covered problem develops with the carrier or our welding during that period, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.

What the Warranty Covers

The WeldedDiff.com limited warranty covers the differential carrier supplied or welded by WeldedDiff.com for one calendar year from the original delivery date.

Coverage includes defects related to:

  • The structural integrity of the differential carrier

  • Weld failure resulting from our workmanship

  • Failure of the welded portion of the carrier under its intended drifting or motorsports use

Coverage applies only to the differential carrier and the welding performed by WeldedDiff.com.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover other components within the differential assembly, including:

  • Ring and pinion gears

  • Bearings

  • Seals

  • Differential housing

  • Axle flanges or output shafts

  • Bushings

  • Mounts

  • Covers

  • Hardware

  • Fluid

  • Other driveline components

These components may be used, customer-supplied or otherwise outside the scope of the welding work performed by WeldedDiff.com.

The warranty also does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Improper differential setup

  • Incorrect backlash or bearing preload

  • Improperly installed ring gears or bearings

  • Insufficient or incorrect lubricant

  • Installation into an incompatible vehicle or differential

  • Impact, collision or physical damage

  • Failure of another driveline component

  • Modification of the carrier or welds after delivery

Installation Matters

A differential is a precision drivetrain assembly. Proper installation, bearing setup, backlash adjustment, fastener torque and lubrication are critical.

When purchasing a welded carrier or mail-in welding service, the customer is responsible for proper differential disassembly, reassembly, setup and installation.

Damage caused by incorrect assembly, setup or installation is not covered by this warranty.

Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with differential setup and repair.

Motorsports Use Is Covered

Our products are built specifically with drifting and motorsports applications in mind. Simply using a WeldedDiff.com carrier for drifting does not void the warranty.

The warranty is intended to cover the workmanship of the carrier and welds during their intended use. It does not cover damage caused by crashes, impacts, improper installation or failures elsewhere in the vehicle.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue, contact WeldedDiff.com before disassembling, modifying or repairing the affected carrier whenever possible.

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Vehicle information

  • A description of the problem

  • Photos or video showing the issue

We may request additional information or ask that the differential carrier be returned for inspection. Shipping back to use will be your responsibility. We will cover return shipping to you.

Inspection and Resolution

Warranty claims are evaluated after reviewing the available information and, when necessary, physically inspecting the carrier.

If we determine that the carrier has experienced a covered failure during the warranty period, WeldedDiff.com may, at our discretion:

  • Repair the carrier

  • Replace the carrier with an equivalent unit

  • Provide another appropriate warranty resolution

Any replacement carrier provided under warranty remains covered for the balance of the original one-year warranty period.

Labor and Related Expenses

The limited warranty applies to the differential carrier itself.

It does not cover:

  • Installation or removal labor

  • Differential setup labor

  • Towing

  • Vehicle storage

  • Rental vehicles

  • Track or event fees

  • Shipping expenses unless specifically authorized

  • Damage to other vehicle components

  • Other incidental expenses associated with removing, inspecting or replacing the differential

Original Purchaser

The one-year limited warranty applies to the original purchaser and begins on the date the WeldedDiff.com product is delivered.

The warranty is not transferable if the differential or vehicle is later sold.
